This place is absolutely magical. From the outside, it looks rather ordinary and small, but once you step inside, the atmosphere transforms this quaint space into a lovely Italian dining experience. Our waiter was very genuine (I didn't get his name), but he made our meal excellent.
The bread was fresh and warm and our water glasses were rarely empty due to our attentive server. I ordered a glass of Montepulciano and my boyfriend ordered another Old World wine which were both absolutely perfect. I had the ravioli di ricotta and the vodka sauce was to die for. The tiramisu was also made well - most places make it with too much cream or not enough espresso, but they hit the nail right on the head with this one. Real quality food and service. -

I've heard a lot of good things about Cecina Amore. I came here on a Saturday night to get an order to go. It took them about 15 minutes for them to take my order and have my food ready which was nice. The waiter was super nice and friendly.
We got the garlic knots, Ravioli di Ricotta, Pasta Genova, and Fettuccine Alla Carbonara. They were all extremely good. The garlic knots were just right. The ravioli di ricotta with vodka sauce were extremely flavorful. Normally i'm not a spinach fan, but enjoyed these. The pasta genova sauce was a perfect creamy pesto sauce. Sometimes pesto sauce can be too strong, but this sauce was perfect. The fettuccine all carbonara was extra tasty. The sauce wasn't too creamy or rich and we scarfed it down quickly.
We will definitely come back in the future and try some more items on the menu. Really good hole in the wall Italian place to check out. -

Great place, service and dinner.
I had the eggplant lasagna and it was really good. Wasn't a fan of the spaghetti but that didn't take away a star. Very nice atmosphere and nicely decorated restaurant. Clint our waiter was A++. -

As we entered the restaurant, only one person working. He was the host, waiter, and bartender which meant very slow service. When customer walked in, they didn't know what to do because he was running around bringing orders and putting in orders. We order garlic knots which tasted awful. It seemed like they were baked, then microwaved with garlic butter. Went stale after couple of minutes. The pastas were ordered weren't that great. No soul or passion in the food. I expected fresh pasta from a local mom/pop restaurant.
3/5 so this restaurants rating don't drop super low, wasn't worth the money. -

This is the best Italian place close to Vista. Had an incredible dinner with my sister and the chef served us personally. Intimate settings once inside. Beautiful presentation and best calamari ever! Amani and Margie
